LAGOS, Nigeria – Air France plane made an emergency landing on Sunday at Lagos Airport in Nigeria because of an error in tire pressure sensor date, said Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA).

“The plane, which was carrying 178 people, including 168 passengers and 10 crew members landed safely,” – said NCAA in a statement.

Captain of the airliner later told NCAA, the sensor gave a wrong signal indicating a problem with the tire pressure. After landing equipment inspection found no problems with the tires.

No injured passengers or damage to the aircraft during landing have been reported.
