The Investment and Development Agency of Latvia (LIAA) created the #LatviaRoadtrip Campaign in partnership with NordicTB – a collective of professional travel influencers based in Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Finland, and Iceland. The visual story “Latvia: Journey of Flavours” was created for the campaign by Storytravelers – a group of professional visual artists.

After a successful first campaign which explored Western Latvia (including Liepaja, Kuldiga, Alsunga), the second phase took the digital storytellers through both Northern and Eastern Latvia on two separate road trips:

The Foodie Route which focused on local culinary experiences and the Riga-Gauja region as a 2017 European Region of Gastronomy.

The Culture Route which included learning traditions at rural guest houses and farm houses in Eastern Latvia (Latgale region) as well as exploring surrounding areas.
